Breedlove Guitar Company Announces New Jeff Tweedy Limited Edition Guitar

Jeff Tweedy first came across a Breedlove Revival 000 in a music shop in Chicago in 2006. While waiting for another purchase to be cased up for him, he happened to spy upon the wall a limited edition Breedlove Revival 000 12-fret Calendar guitar (from the 2006 Breedlove Calendar Series). After playing that guitar for a few minutes, he requested that it be added to the bill, and walked out of the store with it. That Revival 000 soon became a studio favorite, and Jeff's primary live acoustic guitar.

Over the summer of 2007, Jeff and Breedlove discussed the building of another 000, designed to match his #1 as closely as possible. Out of that conversation came the idea for a limited edition instrument based on Jeff's original guitar.

Breedlove is pleased to announce the availability of the Revival 000 Jeff Tweedy Limited Edition. The 000 "JTLE" will be available in two forms. A Deluxe model features a Red Spruce top, East Indian Rosewood back and sides, and a bee-themed headstock inlay with Gold Pearl Honeycomb position markers. An Exotic version upgrades the back/side wood to Brazilian Rosewood.

The Revival 000 JTLE Deluxe retails for $5,999, and no more than 25 will be made. The Exotic retails for $8,499, and only 5 of these will be available. Orders will be accepted through March 31, 2008.
