Neck Options for your Revival Guitar

Breedlove Revival Series guitars can be built with one-piece necks in one of three woods - Honduran Mahogany, Maple or Walnut. Examples of each are pictured below.

The Mahogany neck shown above is unstained, but we have the ability to color-match Mahogany to a variety of different backwoods. We will normally opt for a suitable (and often subtle) staining technique to achieve a good match unless you specify otherwise.

Nut Width & Scale

A 1 3/4" nut width is standard on all Revival Series instruments except for the Revival Tenor. Available nut widths and scale lengths are as follows:

Frets

Our standard fretwire has a medium profile and a medium-hard rating. We have selected a fret material that wears well, and is extremely consistent in dimension and quality. You can request jumbo frets if you wish.
