Body Shape - Revival Series
Breedlove Revival Series guitars are available in four different body shapes - OM (Orchestra Model), OM with Cutaway, 000 (12 frets to body) and D (dreadnought). We also offer a Revival Tenor guitar, with an OM body profile.

Revival OM (Orchestra Model)
Our Revival OM (Orchestra Model) acoustic is based on the classic 1930's OM design, and incorporates Breedlove advances in bracing and top graduation. Our OM offers superb note-to-note clarity, a strong and clear bass response, and excellent projection. The OM is a versatile design, suitable for a wide range of steel-string styles.
As noted above, the Revival OM is available with a soft cutaway if desired. This model is referred to as the Revival OMC.
Revival D (Dreadnought)
An American Classic, reinvented. The Revival D channels the spirit of the classic pre-war dreadnought. Our top voicing and bracing techniques deliver a tone that is vintage in character, but modern in performance. Our dreadnought shape provides a strong bass response, and a voice that is resonanant and punchy. Revival Dreadnoughts are excellent for folk, bluegrass, and traditional genres, as well as more modern musical styles.
Revival 000 (12-Fret)
The Revival 000 has a unique tone and a distinct visual appeal. This instrument has a 000-sized body, with a neck that joins the body at the 12th fret. The body itself is actually elongated, increasing internal volume. This geometry also places the bridge nearer to the center of the imaginary circle formed by the lower bouts of the guitar. The result is warm tone with a prominent midrange responsiveness, and a smooth, round voice. The Revival 000 is excellent for both fingerstyle and plectrum playing styles.
Revival Tenor
A much anticipated and requested addition to the Revival family, the Breedlove Revival Tenor opens up a new realm of possibilities for guitar players looking for something different. And for seasoned four-string Tenor players, the Revival Tenor is a very satisfying instrument to experience. Our Tenor shares the body shape of the OM, has a 24-1/16" scale length, and is tuned in fifths (GDAE).
Buildling Your Revival Model Number
Custom Breedlove Revival instruments are referred to by body shape/style (D, OM, OMC, 000 or Tenor). If you are building a customized Revival instrument, your model number is simply the body style plus the word "Custom" (e.g. OM Custom, Tenor Custom). Exact instrument specifications will be noted in your order, as well as on the label inside your completed instrument.
